Russian guitarist Alexei Pliousnine plays music in a wide range of styles: experimental rock, free jazz, improvising metal, noise, and electro-acoustic, mostly concentrating on intuitive composition and spontaneous improvisation. His guitar technique varies from noise soundscapes and drones in Keith Rowe or Sunn O))) style to free improvisation in the manner of Derek Bailey or Fred Frith.
